Privacy policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This policy explains how Cerevon ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal information. It covers two groups of people:
- Visitors to this website, including anyone who fills in one of our forms or books a call.
- Business contacts we reach out to, either to tell them about Cerevon or on behalf of our clients.
If you received a cold email from us and want to stop hearing from us, reply "unsubscribe" or email hello@cerevon.com. We'll remove you right away.
Information we collect from website visitors
- Form details: when you request a call, our form provider (Tally) collects what you enter on our behalf, such as your name, work email, phone number and answers about your business, like what a new customer is worth to you and your budget.
- Campaign tags: if you arrive through a link in one of our emails, the link may carry tags that tell us which campaign it came from. We store these in your browser's session storage for that visit only and send them with any form you submit. They're cleared when you close the tab.
- Technical information: like any website, our hosting provider and the services that deliver our fonts (Google Fonts and Fontshare) receive your IP address and browser details when you load a page. If you play a video, the video provider receives the same.
We don't currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
Information about business contacts we reach out to
Our service is business-to-business outreach. To find the right people to contact, for ourselves and for our clients, we process professional information such as:
- Name, job title, employer and business email address.
- Publicly available information about your company, such as its size, industry, location, job postings, technology used and recent news.
- Your replies to our emails and notes from any conversation we have with you.
We get this information from public sources (such as company websites, job boards, news and professional profiles) and from business contact data providers. We use software tools, including AI tools, to research companies and draft relevant messages. A person on our team reviews and approves every campaign before it goes out.
When we contact you on behalf of a client, we act on that client's instructions, and if you agree to a meeting, we share your details and the notes from our conversation with them so they can prepare for it.
How we use information
- To reply to enquiries, schedule calls and provide our services.
- To send relevant business emails, and to stop emailing anyone who asks us to.
- To see which of our own campaigns bring us enquiries, and to improve our messaging and website.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Legal basis
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent (for example, when you submit a form); steps taken at your request before entering a contract, or performing a contract; our and our clients' legitimate interest in contacting businesses about relevant products and services; and compliance with legal obligations. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time, as described below.
How to opt out of our emails
Every outreach email we send tells you how to opt out. You can reply "unsubscribe" or email hello@cerevon.com at any time. We'll stop contacting you and add your email address to a suppression list, which is the minimum we need to make sure you aren't contacted again by us or by any campaign we run.
Sharing information
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run the business, such as form handling (Tally), email sending, CRM and website hosting. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
- With a client, when you agree to a meeting with them through a campaign we run on their behalf.
- If required by law, or to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
Data retention
We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as needed to respond to you and manage any relationship that follows. We keep business contact data for as long as the relevant campaign runs, then delete it. The only exception is the suppression list, which we keep so we can honor opt-outs.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and where it came from, and get a copy.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to or restrict how we use it, including objecting to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent you've given.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email hello@cerevon.com. We'll respond within 30 days and won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, and we limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
